Estación de AFE Pueblo Garzón
It was inaugurated in 1928 as part of the extension of the railway branch that would unite San Carlos with Rocha.
The arrival of the train brought progress and prosperity to the area. Through this station, the grains of wheat and corn processed by the Molino de Lazo arrived and left. The train passed with four daily frequencies, two for Rocha and two for Montevideo.
There were carriages that took passengers from the station to the town and vice versa and years after a small bus made that journey. Together with the Molino de Lazo, this Railway Station was the symbol of the town prosperity.
